About the Editors

Gary G. Berntson, PhD, is Professor of Psychology, Psychiatry, and Pediatrics at Ohio State University where he is a principal researcher and faculty member in the behavioral neuroscience program. He has published widely in journals and books on social, biological, and neurological psychology.

John T. Cacioppo, PhD, is the Tiffany and Margaret Blake Distinguished Service Professor at The University of Chicago. He serves as the Director of the Center for Cognitive and Social Neuroscience at The University of Chicago. He specializes in social neuroscience, affect and emotion, attitudes, persuasion and prejudice, and social connectedness and health.
