Richard G. Klein lectures on human evolution at Stanford University. He is currently directing excavations at the Duinefontein 2 late Acheulean site near Cape Town, South Africa. The second edition of his book, The Human Career: Human Biological and Cultural Origins, was recently published by the University of Chicago Press.
