Abstract

High-density oligonucleotide microarray technology has been widely used in many biomedical research areas (Lockhart et al., 1996; Lipshutz et al., 1999). This section gives a brief introduction of oligonucleotide expression microarrays and low-level microarray data analysis, including feature extraction, normalization, and expression index calculation.
