Copper nanoparticles on hydrotalcite

(Reusable heterogeneous catalyst for dehydrogenative oxidation of alcohols, dehydrogenative lactonization of diols)

Physical Data: typical copper nanoparticles with a mean diameter of 7.5 nm are located on the surface of hydrotalcite. Cu/HT is dissolved in acidic aqueous conditions.

Form Supplied in: black dusty powder; typically containing 4.6 wt% of Cu; suspended in aqueous solution and easily separated by filtration or centrifugation.

Handling, Storage, and Precautions: can be stored safely in a closed container under air but away from solvents and potential poisons such as sulfur-, pyridine-, and phosphorus-containing compounds.
