Summary

Chapter Sixteen deals with temperature measurement of solid bodies by contact method, including theory, methods of reducing the errors, description of portable and fixed sensors. Many line drawings and diagrams present the construction of sensors and their performance. Also the quasi-contact and extrapolation methods are discussed. At the end of the chapter problems of measurement of internal temperature of solid bodies are treated.
