Summary

Based on the mathematical concepts introduced in Chapters 18 and 19, different air-water exchange models are described which include the influence from wind speed, air and water temperature. The model parameters are determined from laboratory and field data. The models are extended to flowing waters and to the influence of surface films as well as chemical reactions on air-water exchange.
