Chapter 9 gives flowgraph model applications for queuing systems. It reviews queuing terminology and presents examples of finite state M/M/c queues using data from a cellular telephone network and a hydraulic pump system. Extension to an M/G/1 queue and infinite state queues are also presented. Both Bayesian and frequentist methods are presented as well as comparison with kernel density estimation methods.
