This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

To test the null hypotheses that there are no differences in outcomes between

  • the age at which orthodontic treatment for a reverse bite is carried out,

  • different orthodontic interventions for correcting a reverse bite against the alternative hypothesis that there are.
