Abstract
This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:
The objective of this review is to assess safety and efficacy of cannabinoids in multiple sclerosis patients.
The primary question is whether cannabinoids are more effective than placebo or other treatment in decreasing MS-related symptoms
(i.e. spasticity, pain, bladder dysfunction, tremor, fatigue, nystagmus and ataxia) and increasing quality of life.
The secondary question is whether cannabinoids are more effective than placebo or other treatment in decreasing the number of patients who experience clinical relapses or disease progression.
