Secondary objectives:
- To compare the efficacy and safety of clonidine, mivazerol, and dexmedetomidine for reducing mortality and cardiovascular complications following cardiac and non-cardiac surgery.
- To compare the efficacy and safety of alpha-2 adrenergic agonists for reducing mortality and cardiovascular complications following cardiac, vascular non-cardiac, and non-vascular non-cardiac surgery.
