This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

The primary objectives of this systematic review will be to assess the effect of vitamins and/or minerals (excluding calcium) on the incidence or recurrence of colorectal adenomatous polyps and on the incidence of colorectal cancer (CRC). A secondary objective will be to identify the reported incidence of adverse events.
