Abstract
This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:
The objectives of this review are to evaluate the impact of chemotherapy in the adjuvant treatment of early cervix cancer (stages IB1 - IIA). The main outcomes of interest are survival and recurrence rates.
The following issue will be addressed in this review:
Is adjuvant chemotherapy effective in reducing recurrence and improving survival in patients with IA2 - IIA early stage cervix cancer after radical hysterectomy or radiotherapy compared to radical hysterectomy alone, radiotherapy alone, or radical hysterectomy followed by radiotherapy alone.
