Abstract
This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:
Our objective is to conduct a systematic review and if possible, a quantitative meta-analysis, with any evidence collected from randomised controlled trials and quasi-randomised trials of acupuncture for adults and children with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). In this way, we can assess the efficacy and safety of acupuncture therapy for CFS and test the hypothesis that acupuncture is more effective than other interventions.
