This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

To assess the effect of Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy on different stages of premalignant lesions of the gastric mucosa, i.e. atrophic gastritis, intestinal metaplasia and dysplasia.
