Abstract
This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:
To assess the effectiveness of analgesics for management of post-operative pain in children who have undergone a tonsillectomy or adenoidectomy, or both. The questions to be addressed are:
- What analgesics (or combination of analgesics) are effective for the treatment of post-operative pain in children who have undergone a tonsillectomy or adenoidectomy, or both?
- What adverse effects, if any, are associated with the use of individual or combined analgesics for treatment of post-operative pain in children who have undergone a tonsillectomy or adenoidectomy, or both?
