This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

To determine the effectiveness of electromagnetic treatment in the management of urinary incontinence in adults. The following hypotheses will be addressed.

1. Electromagnetic treatment versus no treatment for management of adults with urinary incontinence.

2. Electromagnetic treatment versus placebo for management of adults with urinary incontinence.

3. Electromagnetic treatment versus any other single treatment for management of adults with urinary incontinence.

4. Electromagnetic treatment versus any combination of treatments for management of adults with urinary incontinence.

5. Electromagnetic treatment combined with any other treatment(s) versus that treatment (or combination of treatments) alone for management of adults with urinary incontinence.
