This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

The objective of this systematic review is to determine the effect of the duration of hormone therapy on patients with localized or locally advanced prostate cancer treated with primary radiotherapy, with respect to both disease progression and adverse effects.
