Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

To determine the effects of nitric oxide donors (isosorbide mononitrate, nitroglycerin and sodium nitroprusside) for third trimester cervical ripening or induction of labour, in comparison with placebo or no treatment or other treatments from a predefined hierarchy.
