  2. Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

To assess the safety and efficacy of steroid withdrawal or avoidance in patients receiving a pancreas (including a vascularized organ) alone (PTA), simultaneous with a kidney (SPK) or after kidney transplantation (PAK). All the time periods after transplantation during which steroid withdrawal is performed will be covered by this review.
