This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

The objectives of this review will be to determine the effectiveness of interventions, both pharmacological and non-pharmacological, (other than chemotherapy and external beam radiotherapy) in the management of cough in malignant disease (especially in lung cancer) and assess any adverse effects from the use of these interventions.
