Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

Our objective is to determine if cleansing the vagina with an antiseptic solution before a cesarean delivery decreases the risk of maternal morbidities, including endometritis and wound complications. We will also assess side effects of vaginal cleansing solutions to determine adverse events associated with the intervention.
