Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

To test the null hypothesis that there is no difference in the relative effectiveness of various attachment systems used for mandibular or maxillary implant overdentures or both with respect to prosthesis (overdenture) success, prosthodontic maintenance, patient satisfaction, patient preference, implant success and costs.
