  2. Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

To assess the efficacy and safety of ACT regimens for treating uncomplicated P. falciparum malaria in the context of HIV co-infected or exposed children. Other objectives are to assess whether drug-related adverse events are more common in HIV-positive compared to HIV-negative children and whether antimalarials are less effective in HIV-positive compared to HIV-negative children.
