Abstract

  2. Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

We aim to assess the effects of AEDs for the primary and secondary prevention of seizures after SAH. For primary prevention, we aim to examine whether AEDs reduce the likelihood of seizures in patients who have had a SAH, but have not had a seizure. For secondary prevention, we aim to examine whether AEDs reduce the likelihood of further seizures in patients who have had a SAH and at least one post-SAH seizure.
