Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

  1. To evaluate evidence for the efficacy and durability of any form of pharmacological treatment for pathological and problem gambling.

  2. To evaluate treatment options for pathological and problem gambling to inform evidence based clinical practice.

  3. To assess the methodological features and risk of bias in existing research to inform the methodological and conceptual development of future research in the field.
