Renal late adverse effects after potentially nephrotoxic treatment for childhood cancer

  • Protocol
  • Intervention

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

To evaluate the existing evidence on the effect of potentially nephrotoxic treatment modalities on the prevalence and associated risk factors of renal dysfunction in survivors treated for childhood cancer with a median or mean survival of at least one year after the end of treatment, in comparison to healthy controls or survivors who did not receive potentially nephrotoxic treatment.
