  2. Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

The main objective of this Cochrane review is to evaluate the role of physical exercise for patients suffering from haematological malignancies. For this purpose, we will critically, systematically and statistically analyse the efficacy and safety of physical exercise compared to standard care with respect to overall survival (OS), aerobic capacity, cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength, anthropometric measurements, quality of life, fatigue and adverse events.
