This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:
To evaluate the benefits and harms of acupuncture, electroacupuncture, acupressure, moxibustion and other acupuncture-related interventions (alone or in combination with other acupuncture-related interventions) for the symptoms of CKD. In particular we will plan to compare acupuncture and related interventions to conventional medicine; active, non-pharmacological interventions; and routine/usual care for the symptoms of CKD.
