This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

To determine if non-nutritive sucking versus placebo or no treatment, reduces the number of episodes and duration of GORD in infants.
Subgroup analysis: gestational age (< 28 weeks; 28 to 32 weeks; 32 to 37 weeks); low birth weight (< 1000 g; 1000 to 1500 g; 1500 to 2500 g).
