Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

To assess the effects of IL-2 as an adjunct to ART in reducing morbidity and mortality in HIV infected persons. In addition this review specifically aims at evaluating the ability of IL-2 adjunctive antiretroviral therapy to increase baseline CD 4 count as well as decrease viral load.
