Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

The aim of this study is to determine the effect of experience on outcomes of surgery in ulcerative colitis.  Experience in the literature may be defined as hospital volume – thereby comparing outcomes in high volume versus low volume centres – or surgeon specific volume.
