Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

To evaluate the efficacy of transurethral radiofrequency collagen denaturation, compared to other interventions, in the treatment of stress urinary incontinence in women.

The comparisons will be:

  1. Transurethral collagen denaturation versus no treatment / sham treatment

  2. Transurethral collagen denaturation versus conservative physical treatment

  3. Transurethral collagen denaturation versus mechanical devices (pessaries for SUI)

  4. Transurethral collagen denaturation versus drug treatment

  5. Transurethral collagen denaturation versus injectable treatment for SUI

  6. Transurethral collagen denaturation versus other surgery for SUI.
