  2. Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

To investigate the effectiveness and safety of pre-operative endometrial thinning agents (GnRH agonists, danazol, estrogen-progestin contraceptives and progestogens) versus another agent or versus placebo before endometrial destruction in pre-menstrual women with heavy menstrual bleeding.
