Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

To assess the safety, effectiveness and cost of incentive-based and non-incentive-based interventions for increasing blood donation.

We are particularly interested in the following comparisons:        

  • Monetary versus non-monetary incentives.       

  • Monetary incentives versus non-incentive based interventions.      

  • Monetary incentives, non-monetary incentives and non-incentive-based interventions versus current practice.
