This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

The main aim of this review is to determine the diagnostic accuracy of CDUS in terms of sensitivity and specificity for endoleak detection after endoluminal abdominal aortic aneurysm repair.

We will explore several potential sources of heterogeneity by examining differences in diagnostic accuracy estimation according to the type of the study (case control vs cohort studies), technical differences of the imaging tests, ultrasound of different generations, the size of the aneurysm, characteristic of patient population (age, concomitant disease; severity of aneurismal disease; location of aneurysm), the type of stent and rupture of aneurysm. We will also explore heterogeneity related to methodological study quality items of the Quality Assessment of Diagnostic Accuracy Studies (QUADAS) checklists.
