Abstract

A brief review related to some unsolved problems of the dynamic theory of polymer networks and to possible ways of solving them is presented. The comparative role of small-scale intrachain and long-scale collective interchain relaxation processes, the influence of long-range hydrodynamic interactions between the network elements and the effective viscous medium, and the problem of the structure heterogeneity of polymer networks are considered. New approaches for theoretical treatment of these problems are proposed and discussed.
