Summary

Experiments of a research program concerning the bending of hollow extrusions of the magnesium wrought alloys are described. The poor formability of standard alloys like AZ31 at room temperatures is overcome by forming at elevated temperatures. The appearance of twinning is observed by optical micrographs and proved by pole figures.
