With the RIMLoC Process, a method of processing is now available which is ideal for this material and also has considerable advantages for other light-metal alloys. The RIMLoC Process allows the foundry to melt and cast its material in portions, thus making more flexible operations possible. The small amount of preparation time required by the RIMLoC Process also permits short-term operations planning.
