Summary

In the given work are reported some of the results of INCO-COPERNICUS project “MicroAlu” – Formability Modeling of Aluminium Base PM Alloys, which are associated with the design and manufacturing process of a crankshaft connecting rod for an airplane-model engine. On the base of thermal-mechanical tests the parameters of constitutive equations of the material was evaluated. This result was used in the finite element simulation of manufacturing process.
