Summary

The macroscopic models of the two-phase Al-SiC materials, composed of ductile aluminium matrix and more rigid SiC inclusions, prepared for the tensile loading, have been done. These models are suitable for the experimental as for the numerical simulation.

The basic aim of the numerical and experimental modelling of the tensile deformation of two-phase Al-SiC materials is in the observation of matrix material flow, and in the analysis of the stress-strain state in the matrix.
