Summary

The aim of the presented research was to compare the stability of the ceramic particles – aluminium alloy bonding with magnesium in composites formed in the same way, with the same chemical constitution of the matrix, but with a different kind of particles (SiC or Al2O3). Interest in such a comparison follows the existing tendencies to produce composites which contain reinforcing phases of different chemical constitution and dispersion.
