Summary

In this paper the quality and quantity assessment of the microstructure of chromium cast steels as cast and after annealing is presented. The investigations have been carried out with the view of using the results at working out the chemical composition of alloys assigned to service in abrasive conditions with the use of a stream of loose abrasive material at the temperature 450°C.
