Summary

The present investigation was mainly aimed to gain some knowledge of powder production by means of the rotating electrode process (REP), powder consolidation and thermomechanical processing routes in a near-γ alloy. Then, the consolidated powder was compared to its cast+extruded counterpart. This work was devoted to evaluate the effects of the processing and annealing conditions on the microstructure and on tensile properties.
