Summary

The thermal diffusivity of Mg-cp, AZ91, QE22 and Mg-Sc alloys was measured. The thermal conductivity was determined from the thermal diffusivity, the specific heat and the density. The thermal conductivity of all alloys increases with increasing temperature up to 300 °C. The thermal conductivity of Mg-Sc alloys decreases with the increasing of the Sc content. For all Mg-Sc alloys the electronic and phonon thermal conductivity were determined.
