Summary

The research project “Design and Processing of Selectively Reinforced Magnesium Components (Mg-Hybrid)” [4] within the fourth European frame work program was focussing on the local reinforcement of magnesium castings by continuous fibers referring to applications in aeronautics and in the automotive industry.
