Summary

It is the purpose of this paper to provide an overview of recent results of characterisation of the structure, morphology and orientation of fine-scale precipitates of intermediate and equilibrium phases in magnesium alloys WE54 and AZ91 using transmission electron microscopy and electron microdiffraction.
