Both benign and malignant hepatic neoplasms and tumourlike lesions provide interesting clues in tumour pathogenesis. This chapter discusses these tumours, with special emphasis on the two most common primary neoplasms, hepatocellular carcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma. The epidemiology, the various aetiologic factors, pathophysiologic concepts, and pathology are presented with brief mention on clinical presentations and treatment options and outcomes. Additionally, a brief discussion of tumours of the gallbladder and extrahepatic biliary system is also included.
