Abstract

This article describes the techniques of warping and morphing images and other graphical objects used in computer graphics. Warping is a geometric deformation of a single object. Morphing is the combination of image warping and blending and interpolates two objects into a novel object. The state-of-the-art techniques of two-dimensional image morphing are explained. Some morphing techniques for other graphical objects are also introduced.
