Abstract

Wind energy produced by wind turbines is a form of green energy. Wind turbines are generally thought to be a positive force for the environment, however, they bring their own controversies to the environmentally couscous community table. Where wind turbines are not thought to contribute to global warming or cause headline news stories of mass tragedy, the turbines' blades have been consistently correlated to bird and bat fatalities.
