Abstract

IABG is responsible for conducting the A380 full-scale fatigue test at its company site in Dresden, Germany. The A380 full-scale fatigue test setup has been erected by IABG in 2004/2005 and the test was started on September 1, 2005. Airbus has introduced a number of Structural health monitoring (SHM) means into the test specimen for validation of innovative shm technologies.
